While they’re definitely not cheap, they are becoming more popular among smokers, who are realizing that they don’t have to spend much money or sacrifice enough time to avoid smoking forever. Vapor cigarettes can also be carried around with you, which means you don’t have to quit outside of the house (although I wouldn’t recommend taking them on planes or trains).
